You make a free account inside the extension with an email and password, or sign in with Google. You can add several accounts and switch between them without signing out.
From the Google Maps results page you are looking at in your own browser. The extension reads what is on the page and does not run in the background on its own.
It scrolls at a human pace, caps how many results it reads at once, and stops if Google shows a check. It never signs into Google for you on the Maps page.
One credit is one owner lookup. If the lookup finds nothing, the credit is returned.
